Who is Katharine?

I am a new student, an avid reader, traveler, history buff and crafter. 


A little more detail: 


My undergraduate degree is in geography/anthropology so business classes will be a interesting challenge for me.  


My husband and I live in southern Maine with our two cats Finn and Puck.

    Hi Katherine,
    Reading your blog immediately makes me feel like I am on the coasts of Maine. The use of colors, background, and font really makes it "beachy" and serene. I really like the different pictures you used to illustrate a couple of your hobbies and who you are. I also like how you created different posts, I think it helps to keep the blog organized and easy to follow. In addition, I like how you created a link for the company you work for. One suggestion I have is that I think it would help to make your blog more robust if you added websites you frequent (either websites relating to traveling, quilting, etc) as a gadget on your blog. As someone who may be interested in taking up quilting (sewing actually), I for one would appreciate some good websites to visit, thanks!

    DIY is soo intimidating but Ill be doing a good deal of it for my wedding!!! Hopefully my projects will come out as nicely as yours have!
